...A large lot of Ei "Telefunkens" from antique electronic supply in the very early 90's that came in real Tele boxes but had no diamonds.It wasn't until a few years later that I realized that they were not the real thing. Good thing that for the price (IIRC, under $2 a tube) there are no hard feelings as they are OK for the money and *nobody* really was looking for fakes in 1990.
