A little bit more description would help here. Does this happen with all sources -- CD, LP? When you say "oscillating," do you mean bigger movement that is following the music, or a pumping action that is independent of the music? Is it subsonic pumping action, or do you hear something amiss from the speaker? Does the side that is oscillating change when you switch the speaker cables from one speaker to the other?I would start by switching the leads to the speaker, if the side that is acting up changes, it is not the speaker, but something up the chain. If it is not the speaker, then switch the interconnects to the amp. By moving backwards this way, you can at least isolate the component that is acting up.
If I were to hazard a guess, it would be something has become unstable in either the amp or preamp which is causing the oscillation. You need to find out quick and cure the problem before serious damage to that component, or your speakers, occurs.
