I need more volume because there is 20dB hearing loss in my right ear.The 5751 I used is a good tube. It works well in another circuit for which ti was designed. The noise i am hearing is not due to a bad tube (either the 5751 or the 6SN7). It is because the 5751 has too much gain for the 6SN7 in this circuit (OTL) and i was hoping someone could explain the theoretical, "partial" contribution of the Ouput tube and the circuit.
