And found plenty of hour meters, all of them for industrial use. It's common for machinery to employ such meters to keep track of proper maintenance. There are also counters such as those commonly found in photocopiers to keep track of the number of copies made on the machine.I think it's a really useful device for preventive maintenance specially when you are dealing with a $5000 amplifier with a total of 8 6550 tubes as in the case of my unit.
