Do it! Get them kt77s from Eurotubes.com.You have to call him you get the fastest shipping I have ever seen. The guy is a little cranky but he's got the best tubes and prices. Co designer of the prototype.
You will find them very different from the EL34L, I have both. No specific burn in I just played them and they got better. Sound decent 2 hours out of the box, honest. More bass emphasis bigger sound but I switched back to the el34ls for the glorious midrange.
