I own a Premier 17LS2 (the "2" is essentially a different machine from the 17LS, soundwise) and formerly owned a Premier 14. There was a substantial positive difference between the 14 and the 17LS2. I played them side by side for friends. The 14 was really veiled and dull by comparison. The difference was widened still further by changing from the stock (and not bad) EH 6922s in the 17LS2 to Old Stock Amperex and Mullards. The Mullards sounded best of all.
