Many thanks for the advice.I've been given a NOS pair of Motorola 5963s with grey plates and halo getters, and just wanted to make sure these were an acceptable switch before trying them - I know the Prologue 2 will take a huge variety of tube types but, being pretty new to tubes, I wasn't sure it was electrically safe.
I have the manual for the Prologue which lists some acceptable tubes you can use in it but is there a comprehensive list available, with all the varieties that you can try?
