No fake, a genuine Sylvania down to every minute detail, including the thickness of the top mica layer and the copper grid rods. To create a replica like this would cost a fortune, and the person attmepting it would only go broke instead of make any money.Most of the fake tubes around are just using new or used, but cheap, varieties of vintage tubes re-labelled as something more valuable. There are, for example, "Telefunken ECC803S" around which doesn't have the frame grid construction. And there are some sellers who go one step further by gold-plating pins as well. But to actually produce replicas? I think this is almost non-existent, for the logic stated above.
Japanese sellers, I must add, are known to be highly trustworthy. Unless unknowingly (which happens sometimes), they practicaly don't sell fake tube. But their kind of price level simply rules out overseas buyers from buying from them.
