Class A tube driver matching?

Hi. Fairly new to tubes, so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I have a Sophia Baby amplifier (see link below). It is a Class A amp, and a friend of mine said that tube matching for the drivers (5670's) is not needed. Is this true? If so, why?
