I ordered matched pairs but I guess this is output and not noise. In the future I will see if a low noise test can be run. As to gold pins, I did know they were the same tube but felt the gold would provide better contact over time. Whether standard pins oxidize over a year or two is a good question. But when I spend $500 for power cords an extra $10 for gold is not bad insurance. Thanks for the information.
