Can you Safely Replace One Tube with Auto Bias

I have some old output tubes el34ls for an integrated. There are no manual bias pots to be seen. It is sold as an Auto Bias amp. I seriously doubt a true computer chip was installed as in real autobiasing amps like Audio Valve. I was told is actually a " fixed bias."
This is a typical "Mullard" long tail configuration. So I am told, made by Consonance. It's the M100-plus model. You may know the company as Opera Audio.
I would like to use some of the tubes I bought as matched quads for replacements.
I always just bought an entire matched quad, it wasn't very expensive, but why not use the good ones I have, they don't wear at the same rate.
It seems as if they die in a specific symetrical manner. As if it uses the full voltage to the tube in position X then if you crank it Tube in position Y tube gets all lit up but symetrically not like only one tube's circuit is problematic. Outermost first then the inner tubes get the apparent juice.
