Only military grade 6P3S-E are good and reliable. These don't have black or brown bakelite bases. Stay away from non-military 6P3S with such bases. However, look for pretty Polish NOS Telam/Dolam 6P3S, here in Poland thay can be bought quite easy and cheaply. Look them up on www.allegro.plGood luck
