But, as I indicated its all about tone and what you want to hear. In comparison some feel the SED 6550C is a bit rolled off on the top, a bit warmer tube that the EH and they prefer the sound of the EH. I consider the SED neutral and the EH a bit 'bright' but thats with my amps and my sonic preferences so YMMV. There has been a lot of discussion of the differences between these tubes in the past. You might like to check the archives for further opinions.
