Re: Woofers getting sucked in by valve preamp

This is normal behaviour for many tube preamps, relay switching the preamp outputs is one way commercial products get around the problem. The switch-on sequence you've been advised is good. Reverse it for switch-off.

Of course your power amp should be blocking DC, are NADs DC coupled?
