Amperex Orange Globe tubes - from Great Britain?

I have a question for all you tube experts out there.

I recently purchased a quad of NOS 6DJ8 Amperex tubes.
The tubes have the standard Amperex orange globe, and are marked "Made in Gr. Britain".
The tubes have a shield, as well as having steel pins.
They appear to be authentic Amperex tubes, based on my limited knowledge. (i.e. they have the ridges on top, and the shield has the trademark square indentations on both sides. And they came in the standard green and yellow Amperex box, for whatever that is worth.)

I have been trying to research out if the Blackburn plant (Great Britain's tube plant) made these, or if they are really from Holland.
(I got them relatively cheap, so no big deal either way.)

Anybody know anything about these tubes?
Are they just okay, good or really good, (i.e. like the Orange Globe tubes from Holland are supposed to be.)

I know, I know, "Just try them out", will be the stock response!
However, I just got them, and I have not had a chance to install them yet, and probably won't until this weekend. I just wondered if they are worth putting in my amps immediately, or if I should wait until the current tubes go bad. (I currently have some decent tubes in there, Sylvania 7308s, which seem better than the stock Sovteks, but not impressively better.)

Hey guys, thanks for the help!

PS Yeah, Yeah, I know, my team sucks!
Don't bring it up! :-)
(Besides, it is still baseball season, and the A's are doing well!)
