I'd strongly recommend the 6h23n-eb tubes available from the Cable Company (www.fatwyre.com). I've used them in both an SP9 Mkiii and now in an LS25 Mki, and they make the preamps sound like entirely different and better equipment than when using the stock Sovteks: it's a surprisingly significant difference.Scott
