ARC will probably be no higher than a good tech. ARC's labor rate is around $80/hour last time I have a unit in for repair, 2004. Parts prices are reasonable. Additionally, you are sending the unit to the folks that designed and built the thing. They will know everything there is to know about the SP-3.I have nevered regretted sending my gear back to ARC for service. It is always fast, done right, and they send it back looking brand new! Seriously, after service is finished with the unit it goes back down the production line just like a new unit. Cleaned, inspected, Warren auditions the unit and then it gets packed up for shipping.
