I have been the happy owner of a Copland 266 CDP since 1999, and indeed it is a good player. Never had to be serviced or repaired, and it plays all kinds of home made CDs.
Fast, detailed and punchy sound, with a nice timbre and fairly deep soundstage. I have had a really nice time with this player, but I must admit that it is now doing service in my no. 2 system, being replaced by a Meridian G08 in the main system. A far better player, at a much higher price.
