My only experience with these tubes were in old black & white
tv sets.I have an old Motorola set in my collection that uses the
PL504/27GB5 as the horizontal output.These tubes seem pretty rugged
and last a long time.I am not aware and seriously doubt that any
new ones are being made.But NOS versions are plentiful.I would imagine
that they would be useful in a medium power home made OTL amp.
