Dane-O,
I appear to have the same version of the MG SI15DT that you have. I just went through the experience of learning to bias the amp. I got instructions from Alan of AudioWaves and it worked great.
First, I bought an inexpensive mutlimeter from Radio Shack with a large digital readout (Cat #22-163). It was $30.
There are two holes on top of the amp behind each KT88 tube. One is for a small screwdriver to turn for the adjustment and the other is the positive test point.
You place the black connector for the meter into a black speaker output. You then place the red connector for the meter into the test point while you turn the screw with the screwdriver. You turn the screw and set it for .8 volt or 800 milivolts (for KT88). You only have a be fairly quick because the amp is on and those tubes get hot!
I found this very easy and the meter was perfect because it stood up to be readable.
Hope this helps. I understand that if you use EL34s or KT90s you need a different setting.
I am an audio klutz and I managed to do it in 90 seconds.
