Guys,Ruby does not make tubes. Ruby is a relabeler, and saying it has Ruby EL34s unfortunately tells us nothing. They could be JJ, they could be Chinese, they could be SED. If you can identify the maker of the tubes then we can be more helpful.
FWIW, I've retubed V12s with KT-88 EHs, and had good success with them.
