Michael Marx at SND tubes is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful vendors I have ever dealt with. I was unaware of his site until a ham radio friend recommended him. His prices are fantastic across the board, and he stocks great used tubes as well as NOS. Give him a try; A+ guy in my book, and I am very picky. On price alone he is competititive with EBAY prices, and he actually tests tubes like old stock 12AX7s for microphonics! No clunkers from SND tubes. I'm not affiliated, just a VERY impressed and satisfied customer. I have included the link to his site; check it out. He seems to specialize in great 12AX7s (and other twin triode preamp tubes) from Europe and America, and has tremendous stock of output triodes & pentodes as well. Great guy. And I don't shill for anyone or praise lightly!
