I owned one for about a year. It sounded quite good, mine had been modified to some degree. I, after a couple of months, added ElectraPrint output transformers. An improvement over stock but probably not $400+ worth of improvement. I have owned Cary 300b mono blocks as well as Welbourne 300b amplifiers, I can't say one was better than the other, but cosmetically the Sophia is pretty good looking. Not sure what you are looking for from a review standpoint but for $3000.00 I think there are better choices unless you are in love with the looks.
