Last weekend I have purchased a second hand (2 years old) Jadis Orchestra Reference amplifier with Ei KT-90 tubes.
I would like to check and if necessary adjust the bias and would be grateful, if I could get some information on how to do it.
-On what points exactly are the measurements taken and how many millivolts?
Any photographs or drawings showing the measurement points perhaps?
Please allow me another few questions.
-If I replace the original set of Ei KT-90 with another set of Ei KT-90, is there any bias adjustment necessary?
-Does replacing the driver tubes require any bias adjustment, or can I replace the original Chinese 12AX7 with a pair of NOS 12AX7 or a pair of NOS 5751?
-How would I set the bias to use the amp in "triode mode"?
I live in Asia and about a full day driving away from the Jadis dealer, so being able to set the bias myself is definitely preferred.
