TS6550 for CJ MV60SE?

Will the Tung Sol reissue 6550 work (electrically speaking) in my Conrad Johnson MV60SE? I was under the impression that I need a 6550 with a letter in the suffix (like the original SED 6550C), but if not, I might give these a roll.

If anybody has experience with these (or other) power tubes in the MV60SE, I would like to know as well.
