coresta, hi. I remember the 6EJ7 from Futterman H3aa. All the gain in these amps came from that tube. Still curious if any builder has experimented with it recently. One can find very good examples of this tube. I think I still have some Telfunken NOS. That was the best sounding in the Futterman circuit to my ears. I will check on the Kaneda hybrids. Thanks for the tip.
