I have rolled several tubes through my Njoe Tjoeb 4000 and so far, and was wondering what other owners have settled on for their favorites.
My favorite so far is the Siemens E188CC with gold pins. Probably the most detail of any of them.
Second favorite is the Amperex Bugle Boy E88CC.
Then come some Phillips JAN 6922 and the Siemens 7308s that came with the unit (bought on AGon earlier this year.) My unit also has the upsampler.
I am looking for the most detail and clarity. The rest of my system has warmth.
