As tubemonger stated, these 3-mica spacer (actually 2 mica spacers with a clear splatter shield to stop the getter flash from contaminating the tube electrodes below) pinch waist 6201 tubes are extremely desirable and were made in the Valvo, Hamburg factory in the late 1950s.The date code of Df1 D8L3 confirms the Valvo, Hamburg manufacture from 1958, December, 3rd week.
The Df is the Philips-owned company code for the 6201 type. The 1 is the revision code for the Df type; the Df1 tubes are the Hamburg manufactured, three mica spacer 6201 tubes from the late 1950s with the pinch waist appearance and D shaped getters. I have seen these tubes with 1957, 1958, and early 1959 date codes.
In late 1959, Valvo stopped using the upper transparent splatter shield for the 6201 type when the D getter was replaced by a dual support ring getter. These late 1959 two mica pinch waist tubes have VG0 as the tube type and revision code, at least for the Valvo Blue label 6201 tubes. (if anybody has Philips- or Amperex-labled two-mica pinch waist 6201 tubes from late 1959 with the Df type code please let me know).
The 3-mica tubes with the D8L3 factory and date codes were made just before the factory went on Christmas break.
