Go to Ebay and look for a good NOS Siemens ECC88, or better yet, a Siemens Cca( E88CC), preferably a late 50's or early 60's. I think that you'll be very happy. I have tried a variety of ECC88/6922 tubes in several dacs and preamps and this Siemens has been the most neutral and musical to my ears. I preferred it to an Amperex 6922 PQ white label, but, YMMV.
