I just received the same preamp, and it did not work. I was sending it to Response Audio for modifications anyway and talked to Bill about the problem first. He called me right after receiving it to tell me that a switch inside, which determines 110v or 220v was in the neutral position, thereby providing no current. Open up the amps and see if there is a similar switch that (in your case) simply has to be thrown into the 220v position. Good luck and let us know what happened.
