Q-man, hi. There are other Luxman amps that use this tube such as the MQ-68c stereo amplifier. Good luck finding tubes! This tube appears to be a triode connected horizontal output tube similar in many ways to the infamous Luxman 8045G. 50CA10 takes 50 Volts on the filament. There are no substitutes. It has a base like a 6LF6, 12 pins on a glass button. There are other similar (somewhat) types like the 40KG6 that you could wire up to sub for the 50CA10 except for the heater voltage. There are/were Chinese made 50CA10 that I was, quite frankly, warned about using. Reliability and quality control are the main issues, plus you will pay through the nose for them. Another problem with the 50CA10 is the relatively few amps that were made that used them, even in Japan. I think NEC made the Luxman branded 50CA10. At least with the MB-3045 Lux amps one could go to a 6550/KT-88 or EL-34 or 6LF6 with a few changes since the output tube supplies were 6 Volt. I think there is no easy path for the MQ-68c and other Luxman amps that used 50CA10.
