I really like the older EL34A's and have used them labelled Valve Art and Golden Dragon. I like the Chinese EL34's over their Russian competitors, including the highly regarded SED's. It seems to me that New Sensor is trying to (if not already) dominate the North American tube market. After they comandeered the "Svetlana" name by legal manuever, I would not be surprised if they are employing other techniques to eliminate the competition and confuse the consumer.
