RCA 6BQ5 pair of tested, known good NOS tubes, a bit over $40.UNTESTED? A pair goes for over $50.
This is just one example.
What will they do if they get a dead or weak tube, when paying over $50 for a pair? Not unheard of. I've tested enough tubes to know sometimes a perfect looking NOS tube doesn't test great. Once in a while, it may even be dead.
