I have tried them in my prologue 2 and they are very nice smooth warm midrange nice full bass and sweet extented highs. FWIW is used the mullard 4004's and found them too "fuzzy" in my system they were nice in some areas but I perfer the gt 12ax7m's make sure you buy from a rep dealer they can be microphonic you need to weed the bad ones out..
