I actually don't know whether Mullard made an A frame 6DJ8. I should say, however, that without numbers etched into the glass, as one would find on both Amperex's or Mullards, it is likely that your tube was a copy made in China or Japan. Now while one might be inclined to consider this bad news, the fact is that you like the way the tube sounds. You should probably consider this an advantage because it is certain that a replacement tube from China or Japan is going to be a lot cheaper than NOS Amperex's or Mullards. Sorry that I don't have any more useful information for you.
