I been eyeballing those tubes listed on eBay. But, they are different construction compared to the Amperex 6085s I use.The Amperex I have on hand states PQ 6085 Premium Quality & on the other side of glass states Amperex 6085 Made in Holland. Codes are VB9 & 'delta sign' 3G5.
Micas have only four ears that contact the glass. The tubes also have dual mica rod supports & one continues above top mica to getter ring.
The tubes shown on ebay do not have dual mica supports & getter flash is much closer to the top mica. It is had to tell, but the tubes on ebay appear to be shorter in height. I would guess those tubes on ebay would sound different.
