I can relate to your post 'big time'.>I relate to your posts too, Jimmy! Always enjoy reading them. We've been down some similar paths and come to similar conclusions. I'd venture to say it's what happens when you listen objectively and without prejudice but that's too grandiose and I'm sure most of us do exactly that. If we weren't confident about taking the road less travelled, ending up trusting our inner voice and hauling up in unusual solutions that don't bow to popular conceptions, we wouldn't be on the Audio Asylum, or fiddling about with 20s tube technology, in the first place!! Ah, the things we do for love............
