That is indeed correct; I'd have to refer back to my codes but "L" is indeed Brussels. X I believe is Philips Sittard (not Eindhoven as is thought) Strangely, I far prefer the 1960-1962 L coded Brussels production. The X code tubes are very crisp and detailed , but like the metal base EL34s from Holland, they are a bit "edgy" on top whereas the Brussels "L" series have the best mids and treble of any EL34 ever turned out (In my not so humble opinion!)
