I ran the Jolida with the stock tubes for about 10 hours. The sound was quite good I thought. I had a pair of Sovtek 12AX7's on hand so I thought, what the check, and rolled the new Sovteks in the Jolida.I noticed an immediate improvement. Smoother, less grain with tighter bass and more detailed highs.
Yes, I agree the LPS is an improvement. I'm sure some of the more experienced tube guys will disagree though!
I'll do a review in a six months.
