It is simplier than it seems.
I am looking for high gain to drive the 300B,
low output impedance with 15mA of current
to drive the 300B in A2 easily
and directly coupled again to
drive the 300B into A2.
And of course good sounding tubes working
in their sweet spot without pushing them HARD.
I did model with TubeCAD the unparalleled 6N1P and
16mA through a single 6N1P would be using it at
95% of their max dissapation - too hard IMHO.DanL
