Yeah, I don't know why manufacturers are reluctant to provide biasing information to buyers of their amps. Perhaps it's because their customers are guitar players, and are consequently nuts. I don't mean to defame any group with a broad brush, but I've replaced too many power transformers from guitar amps. I never replace power transformers from audio amps, just guitar amps. Usually with 20 amp fuses in an amp that called for a 3 amp fuse. The guy is usually looking for a little extra power. And he gets it for the 10-15 miliseconds before he smokes the whole amp. Anyway, the fast answer to your biasing question is, you can't bias your Carvin amp as the schematic is written. You have to add 4 resistors to the cathodes of your output tubes. So, if you are unwilling to solder in those resistors or if you don't own a volt/ohm meter, then you should stop and let someone else add the resistors and measure the output tubes.
