A mystery

I also don't have my SP-8 manual around, but I'm not sure that jeffrybehr is not correct. My SP-8 has all original tubes from the factory and it's best 12AX7- a Siemens in the rear most right row socket is clearly a nicer model than the others and marked "LN", I assume for low noise. The left tube of the front row is the same as the others in that row- all probably RFTs. I'm also not using the phono section now- the SP-8 is in the office and have thought of changing the phono tubes to place holders for now.

I 've forgotten so much about the SP-8, I've never touched the tube complemtn, puls it was in it's box the last 10 years!

Now- a mystery!
