Yeah, you're right, but WE was a world into itself - letter suffixed tubes weren't necessarily "back compatible" with earlier versions - so I really don't consider them part of the EIAA/RMA standard (and there are scads of other series that don't conform either for that matter). And you're also right about the "Y" prefix - usually designated a "micanol" (mica filled bakelite) base.But yer nitpicking about little issues (not that I mind clarification on these) and ignoring my main points.
