I've tried them both in my Dynaco Stereo 70 II's. The big bottles sound fine but break up sooner than the EH EL34's. I would have thought the opposite. The bigger: the louder, less distortion. But no. The slimmer tubes pack a more powerful punch. They actually sound pretty similar otherwise.
