Fortunately the RCA amps seem plentiful and reasonably priced.I bought my other 6146 RCA amp off ebay for 81 dollars with no tubes in it.Rodney there has always been this hysteria that low power amps sound best and what I have found is minimal output device amplifiers sound best.My altec 1570s are a good example.They are 165 watts but only two output tubes and they sound great.Thats whats nice about theatre amps is you can have lots of power and usually without having 6 ot 8 outputs per side.
