Here's the details- Cary Sli-80 with all new Electro-Harmonix input and output tubes (KT88) with about 25 hours. Serious hum from the unit and a bit through the speakers. Will try a "cheater plug" tomorrow, but I doubt it's a ground loop. Using a Shunyata Diamondback power cord. No other devices are grounded. Have set bias to spec.Here's the other thing- the right side is slightly louder. I think the hum is loudest from the left set of KT88s. I could be wrong. Haven't switched the left/right sides yet.
Ideas? Comments? Suggestions? Thanks.
