Hi "G." I've never before had a customer, to my knowledge, with a ringing tube that wasn't tamed with a HAL-O Damping Instrument. You might try placing the damping instruments around the middle of the tubes, where their damping effect is greatest, or even lower on the tube, closer to the base.We have HAL-O isolation pads that are slightly oversized and more compliant that we recently developed for KR T-1610 tubes. Since these isolation pads can tame a Kronzilla, it seems a possibility that they might tame your 12AU7s.
