I may have a go at building a good PP amp someday soon. Right now, I listen to a sv83 se pentode amp with 3 watts of power. It only uses degenerative feedback on the 6n1p driver. There is no global feedback. Because there is no global feedback, it really only produces 1 watt with no clipping/breakup but on some program material can push 3 watts. It sounds wide open and fast as lightning.
