Again the GT kT66hp excelled over the genelex kt66 smoked bottle.Maybe this is an exceptional set I have but they were more open than the genes but the genes had a little sweeter high end but nothing appreciable.It was maybe 5% better if that.Midrange on the GT tho was far and above better than the gene smokers.As I said the genes are 43 years old and possibly that could be part of the reason..The genes Kt66s I have do check very well tho on my heath TT-1 so i didnt figure them to be a problem.There is a lot of people on here on AA comming up with the same conclusions that i have.Even craig from NOS valves has his genelexs parked while he uses shuguangs.I asked him why he doesnt use the genes and his response was why,the shuguang kt88s are just as good and I can sell the GEC kt88s to somebody for big bucks 10 years from now ..Makes sense to me..
