You've done an excellent job of regurgitating EAT's promotional materials. Or, from another point of view, you've bought in hook, line & sinker.

Quite simply, EAT is a branding that manufactures nothing, the "cooperative" nature and combining of "top engineers" is a euphemism for - manufacturing is outsourced to factories capable of producing that tube, with maybe a bit of tweaking to make them appear dissimilar to the factory's own branded version. For example, it's quite well known that the EAT 300B is a Tesla tube and there are strong rumors that the EAT 45 is actually a "B" grade EML tube. The KT88 is of the same nature.

The rather absurd Positive Feedback "review" (it's laughable to describe it as a review, actually) has been well dissected long ago.

Kessler's "review" is similary laughable, what exactly is a "reasonable facsimilie of a £3000 amplifier"? Kessler knows full well there are god-awful shitty £3000 amps, some very good ones, and lots inbetween. So what do these "£600" worth of 'turbocharging' do exactly, turn it into a shitty sounding £3000 amp?

Price tag is no indicator of sound quality, so Kessler knows full well that the comparison is hollow as he is not saying if it changes an average sounding amp into a world beater or a world beating £300 amp into a dog - for all he is so deceitfully saying, it may make the Prima Luna sound bad!

Jozefina Krahulcova was a customer service rep at AVVT before it's demise, she's no tube engineer. EAT is cleaver marketing, don't get sucked in.
